The Alexander Technique

I went the other day for a session of the Alexander Technique. It begins with the importance of where the head and spine meet. The idea is that we need to get out of our way and let the bodies natural balance re-emerge. It is great for posture, but also learning to sit, stand, move in a way that reduces the stress on your bones, spine and joints. It is used by Actors, Dancers, Musicians, Sufferers of Back Pain and Many Others.

Back, Neck or Muscle Pain

I am not in the medical profession, but several years ago, as a result of musculoskeletal problems and pain, I went to a physical therapist who was also a Feldenkrais Practitioner. It was really helpful to me.
